# Retrieve an ATS candidate

GET https://api.letsdeel.com/rest/ats/candidates/{candidate_id}

Retrieve the complete detail for a single candidate in one call rather than fetching each part separately. The applications included are limited to the jobs the authenticated caller is permitted to see, so the set returned can vary by caller.

 **Token scopes**: `ats:read`, `worker:read`

Reference: https://developer.deel.com/api/reference/endpoints/ats/retrieve-ats-candidate-v-2026-09-18

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — ## Authentication The Deel API uses bearer tokens to authenticate requests. All API calls must be made over HTTPS — calls over plain HTTP or without authentication will fail. ```curl curl -X GET 'https://api.letsdeel.com/rest/v2/contracts' \ -H 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR-TOKEN-HERE' ``` [Learn more about authentication](/api/authentication)
