Archive an IT asset
Archives an IT asset that has left active use, so an external inventory or MDM/CMDB tool can keep Deel IT in sync. Archiving also removes the asset’s host record, if any, and ends any contract add-ons it carries. To restore an archived asset, use POST /rest/it/assets/{asset_id}/unarchive; it brings back the asset’s active status and location, but not the host or the add-ons.

The Deel API uses bearer tokens to authenticate requests. All API calls must be made over HTTPS — calls over plain HTTP or without authentication will fail.
