Retrieve a request log

Beta

Returns one request by its x-request-id, together with a plain-language explanation of its outcome (gateway_message) and what to do about it (hint). Use it when a client reports a failed call: the request id is echoed in every response header and in the error envelope. Requests of other organizations are not visible and answer 404.

Token scopes: api-logs:read

Beta: this version requires the X-Beta: true request header and its contract may change before it is promoted to stable. It is scheduled to become stable on 2027-01-29.

Authentication

Authentication

The Deel API uses bearer tokens to authenticate requests. All API calls must be made over HTTPS — calls over plain HTTP or without authentication will fail.
